Energy efficient bulbs are great for everyone. The consumer, energy companies and the environment. But they’re a huge change, and you have to teach people to shop for them. You have to learn about lumens, color temperature, bulb types, disposal.

Getting people to the Duke Energy Energy Efficient Lighting Store via digital marketing wasn’t enough. We had to help them across the finish line. So not only did we design the landing page promotion strategy, we also designed the store front and a lighting assistant to help consumers learn about the new bulbs.

I worked with the account team to learn about the client challenge and helped transform it into a solution. Here are my initial sketches for the lighting assistant.
